Monday

Mondays weren't always as tedious as now. Back in '81 I was studying business administration when a new student came to class, and like a pack of wolves all the girls tried to captivate him. I, quetly but surely, won him over. We started flirting before going out, making me the talk of college. The man was tall (like 1'90 meters), with brown hair and eyes, a beard, kind of like a Ken. We had an unspoken agreement and knew this would last until the end of the year and that is the reason we enjoyed it so much. At 12pm he'd say: "let's go for a snack" and we'd take his motorcycle for a ride. We' d skip the afternoon class (yes, there were afternoon classes) and walk downtown to whatever bar was open at the time. We had such enthusiasm that the 23 of February we were in a bar not realizing what was happening. When I went home, my mom was hysterical because she thought a civil war was starting.

But love is not just blind but deaf too, right Pepe U.P.?
